About Visit Kraków

Its old town was among the first places inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. At the centre is Rynek Główny, a large medieval market square with the Cloth Hall and St Mary's Basilica; Wawel Hill above the river carries the royal castle and cathedral. Kazimierz, the former Jewish quarter, lies a short walk south.
