Andorra is a small landlocked country high in the eastern Pyrenees, bordered only by France to the north and Spain to the south.
Andorra is a co-principality headed jointly by the President of France and the Bishop of Urgell, with Catalan as its official language and Andorra la Vella as its capital. The whole country lies in the mountains, its lowest point above 800 metres. Visitors ski at Grandvalira and Pal Arinsal, walk the glacial Madriu-Perafita-Claror valley, and see Romanesque churches such as Santa Coloma.
