Australia's largest city, arranged around a deep natural harbour on the New South Wales coast of the Tasman Sea.
Sydney is the capital of New South Wales, set around Port Jackson on Australia's south-eastern seaboard. The Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge stand at the water's edge beside the historic Rocks district. Many visitors also take a ferry to Manly, walk the cliff path from Bondi to Coogee, or travel inland to the Blue Mountains.
